Alapon — Terms of Service

something to guess at: Bangladesh has mandatory consumer protections that

override whatever a contract says.

1. Who you are agreeing with

Alapon is operated by LeadRescue LLC, registered in [US STATE OF REGISTRATION] at

[REGISTERED ADDRESS] ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these terms.

If you do not agree, do not create an account. If you have already created one,

you can delete it from Settings at any time.

2. What Alapon is

Alapon is an AI assistant that understands Bangla in Bengali script, Bangla

written in English letters ("Banglish"), English, and mixtures of them, and

replies in the script you wrote in.

Alapon generates text using an AI model. It makes mistakes. It can state

something wrong with complete confidence, including names, numbers, dates and

quotations. Check anything that matters.

Alapon is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by

OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, or any other AI company, regardless of which model

produces a given reply.

3. Alapon is not professional advice

Nothing Alapon says is medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice, and

using it does not create any professional relationship.

• Medical. See a qualified doctor. Alapon does not know your history and

cannot examine you.

• Legal. Bangladeshi law changes and Alapon may be out of date or simply

wrong. See a lawyer.

• Financial. Do not make a decision that affects your money on the strength

of what Alapon says.

• Crisis. If you are in immediate danger, contact emergency services. Alapon

will try to point you to a crisis line, but it is software.

4. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• One person per account. Do not share your password.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at

saul@sitesbysaul.com if you think someone else has access.

• Keep your email address current — it is how you recover access.

5. What you may not do

Do not use Alapon to:

• break the law of Bangladesh or of wherever you are;
• create malware, break into systems, or steal credentials;
• defraud, impersonate, blackmail, harass or threaten anyone;
• generate sexual content involving children — this is reported and the account

is terminated without warning or refund;

• find, track or expose a private person against their will;
• resell, repackage or present Alapon's output as a competing AI service;
• work around usage limits, rate limits, or the payment system.

We enforce this automatically. Some requests are refused by software before

a model ever sees them. Refusals can be wrong; if yours was, write to

saul@sitesbysaul.com and a person will look at it.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of what you write. We claim no rights over your messages

or your uploaded documents.

You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your

content, to send it to our AI provider to generate a reply, and to show it back

to you. That permission ends when you delete the content or the account.

We do not train AI models on your private conversations. See the Privacy

Policy.

Do not upload anything you do not have the right to upload.

7. Free plan and paid plan

Free plan. 10 messages per day. [CONFIRM — current code value; revisit once a model and price are chosen, see docs/19] Every feature is included — there

is no safety, deletion, or language feature behind the paywall. The limit is on

volume only.

Paid plan. 100 messages per day for $2.99 per month. [BOTH PROVISIONAL — at top-tier model pricing 100/day loses money at $2.99; run ./ops/cost-model.py before committing to either number.]

About those limits: every reply costs us real money to generate, which is

why the free plan is capped rather than unlimited. We would rather tell you a

small honest number than advertise "unlimited" and throttle you quietly.

We may change limits or prices. If a change makes your plan worse, we will tell

you at least 30 days beforehand, and you can

cancel before it takes effect.

8. Payment, cancellation and refunds

• Subscriptions are sold and billed entirely through Google Play. We never

see or hold your payment details.

• Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel it.
• Cancel through Google Play, not through us — we cannot cancel it for you.
• Refunds are governed by Google Play's policy and by your rights under

Bangladeshi consumer law, which we do not attempt to limit.

• Cancelling stops future charges. You keep the paid plan until the period you

already paid for ends.

9. Availability

We aim to keep Alapon running, but we do not promise it will never be down. It

may be unavailable for maintenance, for problems at our AI provider, or for

reasons outside our control.

We are not currently offering a service-level guarantee. If that changes it will

be stated here, not implied.

10. Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. It takes effect

immediately.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks section 5. Where it is

safe and lawful to do so we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

For serious cases — child sexual abuse material above all — termination is

immediate and final.

If we terminate your account for something you did not do, tell us and we will

put it right.

11. Our liability

Alapon is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows:

• We are not liable for decisions you make based on Alapon's output. It makes

mistakes and we have told you so plainly.

• We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
• Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us in the

12 months before the claim — which for a free account is nothing.

**Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our

negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.**

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will tell you

in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Alapon after that means you

accept the new terms; if you do not, delete your account.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of [JURISDICTION], and disputes go to the

courts of [JURISDICTION].

users are in Bangladesh. Bangladeshi consumer law will likely apply to

Bangladeshi consumers regardless of what this clause says, and a clause that

tries to deny that may itself be unenforceable and looks bad.]
